In the world of Midnight, evil rules and the last brave heroes strive against unbeatable odds. The lands of men have been crushed under the iron heels of the Night Kings and their minions and the lands of the fey are besieged on all sides by the dark hordes of the Shadow in the North. Those who would resist the dominion of the dark god must often do so from the shadows, fighting a secret war that most people believe was lost a hundred years ago.

In the Dominion of Shadow, the rewards of heroism are not fortune and fame. In this age of shadow, heroes fight only to guard the last lights of hope in a darkening world.

Last game session has been posted, many thanks for Ted for scribing that one for everyone's pleasure. The next game date is this Friday, September 29th at chez Waldorf at 4:30pm.

If you haven't already, please register on the messageboards, I am trying out a couple of features that would possibly allow us to do away with the Yahoo site, but I need everyone in the group to register (with email addresses) first.

Session 26 has been added to the Chronicles section of the website. This summary is written from the eyes of Bron, and was done quite well by Jack. The end battle and the meet up with Karl's character is missing, but hopefully we'll have that added in soon.

Next game is this Saturday, 4:30pm at Karl's house.

Two big pieces of news for this week:

1. Fantasy Flight Games has announced that they have been working on a 45 minute Midnight movie. The principal photography is wrapping up this month, and it is on schedule for a November release. It's not clear what the distribution method is going to be (I'm guessing straight to DVD) but it also sounds like this might be the first episode in a series. This week they unveiled two trailers (you'll need Quicktime to view them) and I thought they looked about as good as a low budget sci-fi channel show: not bad, but I'm not expecting Lord of the Rings quality here... Anyway, it is still exciting. Check out the website here: http://www.midnight-film.com/

2. Second piece of news I have is that I am going to be moving the website to a new host. All of the pictures on this site have steadily eaten into my measly 5MB limit. The site will be much easier to get to, since I now own the domain www.dominionofshadow.com, so that is where the site will be relocated to in the coming weeks. I have some intentions to add a couple of new features that this old location wouldn't allow me to do (namely a message board area), but if you have anything that you would like to see, let me know and I'll see what my lame programming skills can do!
